Maybe wrap the thin part with wire or turn a steel pin to put in the tube to take up some of the heat? It is never easy soldering thick to thin pieces. A smaller torch with a hotter flame might help (like Oxy-Acetylene). Get the big piece up to temperature and then at the last minute move over to the thin tubing.

It's only those who do nothing that make no mistakes.

Hi Milan First plenty of flux, especially to the spot that is going to be soldered, tried to heat up the piece uniformly emphasize to the thick part, don't hold the flame at one place, remember the solder follows the direction of the flame.

Thanks for your response. By "Plenty of flux" you mean I shall use more or less flux? Milan

***** Hi my friend use more because flux prevent the oxidation that created from the flame, tried to make the flux paste a little more thick apply around and on the spot that you want to solder. Jim
