Brought back nice memories. We used to start at the bottom and go upriver up to the springs and back. About 5 hours trip. Amazing place!

@CampTravelExplore Nice video. Brings back memories. Near the end of your video, there's a sign for Ray Wayside Park. You seem to have paddled past it. If you didn't get out there, where did you get out?
@Adventureswithbecky3 жыл бұрын
Looked like that bird was your guide in the water as you paddled behind him. On our list to hit up not far from us at all. Just swam with a ton of Manatees and so amazing. Great video tour Tom. Hope all is well with your family.

I love your videos of the FL springs. Your Rainbow Springs video inspired us to start visiting them. So far we've camped at Rainbow, Wekiwa, and Silver Springs...and had a day trip to Ponce De Leon Springs State Park. Florida really has a great resource with its springs and state parks.

That is so great! The Springs really make me appreciate Florida and proud to call it my home state! We are trying to get to a few more this year so stay tuned! Thank You for supporting the channel, we appreciate it!!

Can you take your time going down the river? Do you have to have a guide? Do you have to be camping to use the kayakes or can you just spend the day at the park and use them?
@CampTravelExplore3 жыл бұрын
No you don't need a guide and you would have plenty of time to do the route and they wait on you at the pick up. It took us a good 4 hours I would say!
@pau1h0ffman3 жыл бұрын
Nice video, as always, but it drove me nuts that your paddle was upside down throughout.

pls explain why you opted for the Ft King paddling trail instead of the river for the first mile? How strong is the current?

It was a current issue as much as the route we did is calm and you will definitely see gators and more wildlife I believe :), thanks for checking it out for us!!
@suesisson7402 жыл бұрын
Hi!! How long does it take to go down the river to the pick up point
@CampTravelExplore2 жыл бұрын
I think you could do it in about three hours or less, it depends on how much you stop along the way to take in the wildlife. Great paddle though!!
