Silver @ Undetected 1830's House Site, Metal Detecting

Went out to an old undetected house site and had LOTS of signals. We started with the M11 then changed to the NEW M9 coil and managed to pull some great things. #manticore #metaldetecting #minelabmanticore #minelab #treasure #silver

I think the thing around 23min is a tie clip. It looks like the ones the boy scouts had in the 1940's - 1960's

Hi @robbing TommyKnocker do you have any tips with the M9 how do you like it? any difference you noticed between the M9 and M8? thank you

I am liking the M9, still need to get more time on it but seems to be a great coil. I am still working on the setting with the M8 but I'm noticing I need to swing the M8 slower to not miss good-sounding targets. Good targets if gone over like I would with the M11 sound quick and chirpy but gone over slower sound better. Still working with them but the M9 doesn't seem to be that way and the depth seems good too for being a 9” coil. To early to tell depth between the M8 & M9 but 9 is better. I have a good spot to try them both out, an old house site with lots of iron but waiting for it to be hopefully mowed. I am looking forward to using it in the woods this winter. The 11 is JUST too big for most woods and I want to move through areas quickly to find the hot spots then go slow and steady with either the M9 or switch to the M8.
