Low level player here. Something similar happened to me. How do you beat that as Zerg.

Getting down the first 2 minutes of a build opener will take you from silver to gold or gold to plat. The early game is so important. You scout with your first ovi, see what they’re building and quantity. If you see a lot of units, build a roach Warren. This Zerg should’ve taken a 3rd base at 28 supply, you should have 16/16 in your natural before your 3rd finishes. Inject. Build roaches. and gg. The key is to swallow your fear and keep droning. I was there before, low level can be confusing, you don’t know what’s going on and they don’t. some people will build 6 barracks on 1 base and won’t ever attack.

focus on the first big chunk of economic damage you took and think about how to avoid it, all of your later problems are downstream of that early disadvantage

Learn the macro play and don't waste units running blindly across the map like this guy did. The memes are all about the zerg rushing and otherwise being on offense, but that's not how standard play works. If not harassed the zerg will grow the fastest, so it's up to zerg's opponent to hold them back, and as zerg you need to survive and grow. That said, scouting is part of surviving, and just because you're not going to do much offense in the early game doesn't mean you should let your opponent have a 3rd base for free.

This looks like a game I played when I was 5 years old in 2007 playing my first game against Protoss AI and they rush you with 12 zealots. (Zealots in StarCraft 1 are way better than StarCraft 2)

I still refuse to believe silver league players actually exist. I think the lowest rank of players is gold in the current days of starcraft 2. any lower, They choose* to be silver.
