It was 1999. Seriously....it WAS a different time. Very different takes on mental health. On that subject....we're all actually way better. One of the few things that has actually gotten better over time.

aw daniel. like that girl didnt know after listening to the album and looking at him that he was going through some stuff, and she still had to press about ana'a song. his face at 2:06.. he just had to stand his ground. like he's going to expose his 'mental issues' in front of all those screaming girls before the album was even released. he's so uncomfortable here too. but when he's being funny and looks at the camera at 4:56 theres a moment where it goes away. he's adorable.

That question about mental difficulties was such a cruel and stupid thing to say to a person who already have problems once and clearly was emotionally unstable. So insensitive and not funny... she sucks

yeah it is.i don't want to know how daniel must have felt...people making jokes about his illnesses right in front of him.i just wonder how she (interviewer) could have been so stupid, i mean, it's obvious that he isn't healthy and doesn't feel good and joking about people with depression etc. can really go into the wrong direction.

I really don't understand why you all are hating the interviewer nobody new he was anorexic at the time although it is pretty clear he had a problem, she still dosn't know. Plus it' is kind of her job to try to get secrets out of the musicians, and also to pretend like she doesn't realize anything is wrong to help get the secrets out. On a better note I think he handled that question pretty damn well, and the whole three part harmonys thing was hilarious.

Much is always like that. People always screaming and acting stupid. Nothing new. MTV Canada is so much more calm. Much has alot of hype cause everyone goes to Much, but unless you get tickets to get inside the studio, you're really screwed to a bunch of screaming girls. Yeah, its fucking annoying.
