To think in just a few years this kid would write Diorama

This is silverchairs best riff by far besides maybe israels son or pure massacre etc. They rocked so hard during the 90s it hurts.

For some reason this performance of madman just shits on most of the others! Gillies drum skills are out of this world at such a young age. Man I miss these guys.

Silverchair was considered grunge rock back then but this is the sound they should have continued with and gone heavier into thrash metal ... they would have had more longetivity
@Rvench3 жыл бұрын
They should have stuck to their heavier style instead of going completely gay with their sound and creating a fairy band. They rocked in the early to late 90s tho no doubt.
@knottyboy2014 жыл бұрын
how is it that this 3 piece band of 14 yr old surfies playing live just sh*ts on all rock bands out now, even with all their production effects. This is f*cking rocking off.

@@Spedly they were 13 when they wrote frogstomp recorded frogstomp when they were 14 and this song is on it then freakshow they wrote right after and released when johns was 17 so to have 2 albums like that recorded before 18 years old and to sound like they did was just amazing.

@Patrick Enright That's how I used to hit my drums. Had to switch to kevlar snare head & Rock Crusher sticks. They were the only things that would hold up to that style of play. Didn't realize it at the time, but started playing slower b/c the sticks were heavier. Still love this song after all these years. Makes me want to jump in the mosh pit!
