You showing all facets of yourself holds space for the rest of us who are feeling strong emotions. So many times, we're told to stuff what we feel. That's very limiting, and it forces people to block off their throat chakra. So the fact that you don't hold back with showing us the reality of who you are gives us permission to feel everything, and let it flow through us like a passing storm. Those of us who are empaths have a tougher time letting go of certain energies if we're not practiced at it -- especially if we've been told to hold back on speaking our truth. Your videos hold space for us to practice allowing our feelings to exist, to practice speaking up and saying what we feel. You are most definitely wise beyond your years, Tyler, and we all appreciate what you do, especially in these emotionally distressing times. Your space is so very healing. Namaste to you for shining your light, so we in turn can learn to shine ours.

Honestly, it was kinda refreshing to see videos like the previous two. You don’t usually get to see other ASMRtists display any other emotion besides sympathy or positivity. On another note, we (as your fans) were genuinely concerned and wanted you to be well.

I work in the healthcare industry and am coming home to an empty house with no one to discuss my day with or vent to while dealing with COVID 19 and the ever changing rules. On the video you did with the alcohol I was actually drinking with you throughout the entire thing. It has been said if you are making everyone happy you are doing something wrong. Just keep being you and know that you are loved. So happy to see you smiling again.

If we shove down our anger, it’ll come out on its own when we don’t want it to. I’ve not been the best about channeling my sadness into something better lately - but seeing you push on through your feelings (as opposed to pushing through in spite of them) has helped me work on that. Hope you’re well.

Sharing emotions with others, and seeing others go through the same emotions you're feeling, having a shared experience, feeling validated... all of that is HEALING! Toxic positivity teaches us we have to suppress our "negative" emotions, which ends up causing more harm in the long run. Best to go with the flow and feel your feelings. I appreciated last week's uploads very much, thanks Tyler.

I like all your videos, and especially found the videos you discussed to be cathartic. "Anger" is actually a nice way of labeling what I was feeling that week. Thank you. I also appreciate your positive and comforting videos. There is also a lot of comfort when people share emotions that empathize with others. Sometimes that emotion is indignance, or anger at pointless suffering, or being upset at human rights violations, or any type of injustice. Anger when expressed, but kept in check and control ultimately allows us to manage our thoughts, deal with our fears and can lead us to action. Sometimes taking a drink helps, too!

You have every right to make videos of any kind or vibe you feel like and you're right that those can resonate with people. I just recently found your channel and I appreciate your energy so much. I was immediately relaxed and comforted in a way that I have only ever resonated with one other asmrtist before. Humans are emotional creatures and everyone who watches ASMR comes for a different reason, and even though I'm sorry that you weren't in a good headspace, it is so meaningful and vulnerable that you wanted to put that side of yourself out for us to vibe with. I'm not sure I know any other creators that would show their raw humanity like that so genuinely, thank you.

Hey, brother. I think a lot of people are going through really hard times. This is because the universe is taking us out of our comfort zone, to learn, grow, envolve. Keep in mind we are here to love, always. It is ok to be angry/sad because sometimes we don’t understand why things happen. Anyways... lots of people love the work you do. You are loved. I was watching the comments for those two videos and I think most people were more worried about your wellbeing than their own experience with the video, and for the few who didn't resonate or respond well to those videos, well there's always going to be content that someone doesn't like. For me I enjoy pretty much all your videos, and there may be one or two that aren't for me, I just skip them. It's really not that hard. I think more people should be authentic and honest on the internet, and especially in this community it's good to see someone so honest and relatable. That being said, I hope whatever was troubling you is okay now. Glad to see that smile back.

Yo I appreciate the explanation at the beginning. I kinda felt guilty for not enjoying the videos last week. I was triggered by the alcohol bit and felt like "if I was a different person, I wouldn't be upset about it." But everybody's human. You're human, I'm human. We all process emotions differently and that's totally valid. It's okay if we dont all resonate with 100% of someone's content.

To be perfectly honest, I LOVED the last videos. Too often I watch ASMR where they're so happy and fluffy that it actually agitates me more and can't relax. Very true that it is great to be able to relate in some way to the energy the asmartist is giving off. When he took that shot, I was like, " EXACTLY. That is exactly how my night's going, but we're going to somehow shake that sh*t off together right now." The raw and genuineness to it was what made the video for me, no offense here ♡

My therapist told me that it's okay to feel more "negative" feelings as long as you dont dwell in them forever. It is HEALTHY to feel a variety of feelings. I read the titles and thought, "Well, this is not the vibe I'm going for today." and clicked to something different. As an artist, you are responsible for creating your art, but the emotions it creates in others is not your responsibility. Part of healing is allowing yourself the space to viscerally feel what ya feel. Keep doing your thing and being human.
