Another perfect day is one of my favourite Motörhead albums. There’s nothing like listening to rock it with a little whizz. Lemmy changed my life. He will always be missed. Lived life on his own terms but he was a good guy too and he was a very smart guy, very clever. There will never be another Lemmy, only imitators.
@nicolasboehm16733 жыл бұрын
he was already declining, but his performances were still very good, i mean the man, was drinking coke and whiskey, eating unhealthy, smoking cigarettes, had diabetes, 2013 was the year where he was ill, then 2014 was the year where he lost weight, 2011-2012 lemmy still had it, then he got weaker at 67, RIP lemmy

Mikkey just don’t have that swing that Phil Taylor did on this song
@RPNization2 жыл бұрын
He had the same with Capricorn, that song also didn't go well with Mikkey's drumming, the live in Hamburg 1998 album has a good example for that.

Also the guitarist on the album ‘Another Perfect Day’ was so much better. But he just didn’t fit Motörhead’s look or style. His solos made that album what it is, one of my favourite Motörhead albums. If you’ve never listened to that album on whizz you’ve missed out.

Saw Phil Campbell with his new band The Bastard Sons recently. I was probably no more than five feet from Phil. It was for that reason I found it exciting. I got some of his guitar strings and plectrums after the show and even asked the road crew to give me the set list that was gaffer taped to the stage. Good night out. I can see where they got their name from as Lemmy originally wanted to call his band Bastards they did a Motörhead cover and a Hawkwind cover. It was a bit sad seeing Phil on his own but he’s still doing what he loves and he’s doing it with his two sons. It’s was a good night but just confirmed to me that Lemmy is dead. And the world sucks a bit more because of it.
