Well... what can i say.. thanks for sharing another captivating video. Everything from the filmography to the end product are apt on! To be honest, except from the cup, the handle looked absolutely stunning. This is maybe the most graceful way to get coffee beans out if the storing container.

My intention is... The silver cup part is the main one. Why, because I am an expert on silver. But, Your evaluation is very helpful to me. Thank you very much~

@@SilverMeister I'm not implying that the cup is not the star of the piece, but in my humble opinion, when you create a two parts piece, you must balance it well to get a good overall result. ie: if you didn't make that handle and you just put a plain cylindrical piece of wood, the end result would look unbalanced and not well thought out. But, that same plain cylindrical piece of wood was the handle of o simple cup it would make the piece look elegant. Just my two cents. :)

Yeah smart idea. But do not forget to cover the lathe with cloths, so that not one grain of the anvil paper, that falls of during sanding, can get in the metal bed sliders or other places. That will ruin the metalparts of the machine.

@@SilverMeister Sure, starting at 17:43 you apply something from a bottle and then brush it on over the silver and wood. I at first assumed it was resin or epoxy since the bottle looked the same as the one you used to adhere the handle. But then you touched the wet surface with your hand and that didn't make sense if it was some kind of glue.

Very talented maister. Congratulations for tour excelent work. I wish i could help with your right hand exema due to psoriazis I guess. Avoid alcohool, red meat, strong spicy. Massage the sole of your foot daily for 30min. Apply a very strong massage, using hand cream, watching a reflexology chart, the area of kidney, liver, pancreas, splin, large intestine. Drink enough water to have a very light urin. Good luck.

There is a massive problem in Texas! I just did three flask of rings. EVERY DAMN RING was perfect on one side and bubbles from hell on the other side! I've done hundreds of flask & this is the first time this happened. I almost burned down my forge I was so pissed. I'm on waxing today... just spent $1000 on new casting silver. I'm starting over. Going in to town tomorrow for a new crucible or two.

This the second time I watch this video. And second comment. Exciting as the first time. One of the best videos on KZbin. One of the most brilliant and amazing works of art. In my first comment I wrote: When God created silver, wood, steel and fire ... People like you, he was thinking about! This is what God meant when He created these materials. Thank you again!!!
