*looking through the comments* I keep seeing people saying "she is a recolor of the pony oc iris" look, even if he pic it's is a recolor, the pony itself is original. maybe the person who sent in the request maybe wasn't the best at drawing so they used the pic of iris as a base when creating the picture. and keep in mind, ponies are quite hard to draw at first (trust me, I know from experience,) so please, keep that in mind.

I learned a good way of covering a surface entirely without too many coats, you just take your paint and the object you want covered and use another tool like your pliers to hold the object in the paint fully submerged for about an hour then take it out and let it dry over the bucket. I think that's how I did it last time

A few tips, because I to am a customizer, not of ponies, but of dolls 1. It isn't necessary to remove or cut the neck plug. A pair of curved hemostats can easily get in there and pull the hair. That way your customs could have a still turnable neck after. 2. It isn't a good idea to use nail polish on plastic or vinyl. It may seem fine now, but it will break down over time and get gooey and sticky. I know this from experience. Acrylic paint is the best type of paint to use, plus you can get micro glitter and pearl/iridescent medium to add to your paints. Alcohol based ink is a better second option, but is hard to work with and expensive. I would not recommend model paint either 3. To get acrylic to work well, or use pastels, add a matte spray on base coat sealer. It will make the paint work well, plush you can do body blushing with chalk pastels, or even use watercolor pencils for fine detail. I know this sounds snotty, I don't mean it to be, I love your creative ideas, I think you are very talented, but the nail polish thing is very dangerous if you want your works to last over time.

of all your customs, although it wouldve been nicer if your paint didnt make those lumps, this one is my favorite one. Transparent means you can clearly see through something. Opaque means you can slightly see through it and light can still go through it. And translucent means you can't see through it at all but light can still shine through it.

I noticed that when you were painting the head that their were small hair strands still on the pony, is that from your brush or just hairs you didn’t get fully out of the head? Because if it’s from the brush I wouldn’t recommend using it because the Brush part will keep falling out leaving hair’s on the wet paint. But if it’s from the pony then I wouldn’t worry about it. Btw I love your videos and this is my favorite fan custom Friday custom!❤️

here's some acrylic paint tips 4 u 1: use more, this coats so ur paint is not streaky, this also makes the paint dry faster as apposed to getting thick, sloppy coats that take forever to dry. 2: I would not suggest using an old brush or bottle of paint, this may be the reason that the paint is separating. just trying to help please do not scream at me for being mean cuz I know how you melenial commenters can be

tip for a acrylics on these g4 ponies. mix the paint with some matte medium . i use liquitex brand it prevnts that paint seperation /streaking. also rubbing the whol pony down with acetone helps to.

The more water you add the more unstricky it is (dont add too much water though it will become so watery), and dont use 1 thick layer, use many thin layers (channels to use: cookie swirl c, honey horse c (they are both the same creator)

Friendly tip: acrylic paint does not work on plastic because it is plastic based, so layering plastic on plastic is ineffective. Although it seems it's just more time consuming to use, not completely ineffective.
