Watched this after seeing the Mr Bates V The Post Office drama on ITV. What an amazing woman Jo is. How was this scandal allowed to happen. The Post office threw millions of pounds at the scandal to try to save face. People have died over this scandal and lost their homes and livelihood. I hope one day Alan Bates accepts the honour he so richly deserves for his role in helping the postmasters and postmistresses. Well done on a well constructed interview with Jo here. You asked all the right questions and gave Jo the time to answer them. Very well carried out interview, thanks.

If we go all digital with our money this travesty will happen again.

Thank you for doing this interview. SO unfair and life destroying! Well done to everyone who pushed through and pursued this.

I cried when I saw the despicable treatment that this lovely, honest and hard working woman was subjected to by those Gestapo type Post Office thugs. How the hell can such a miss carriage of justice possibly be perpetrated in this country? The whole mess must be sorted out by the government because as the sole shareholder of the Post Office, they are solely responsible for it. Heads must roll, and the victims MUST be more than adequately compensated for ALL of their losses. Nothing short of this is acceptable. Shame on all of you for doing this to all these law abiding citizens. I am disgusted.

Having now watched Alan Bates V Post office and seeing this interview I would like to express my admiration for Jo, Alan and all those who stood accused in this scandal. Jo is an inspiration, to see her now, buoyant, with a positive outlook on life is truly magnificent. Though I was glues to the series, it was Jo's story that captivated me the most. I truly hope that she gets everything she wishes for and deserve in life.

What a remarkable woman Jo is. Her resolve is admirable given everything she has been through and continues to go through. Keep going Jo, the country is behind you now.

I much prefer concise questions in an interview personally but my heart goes out to this lady and all the other victims of this crime.

His accent annoys me and he does rabbit on too much. I’m amazed that Jo still has her sense of humour after such a tragedy. I hope those responsible do face prison for destroying the lives of so many. It’s honestly hard to believe that the post office could be such criminals. Jo I hope you do go for your law degree and help poor innocent people like yourself fight for justice. So so tragic that people have died because of their corruption. You are a lovely person who deserves a payout for all the heartache you’ve endured. Stay strong Jo! ❤

I’m so sorry that you had to suffer this injustice Jo, the whole Management at the PO are a disgrace, How no one ever said hold on a minute this is happening to too many people of good character for it to be correct is amazing. I really hope that your future is brilliant and amazing because that’s the least you all deserve….

What else did you expect? Irish potato recipes? A review of the spring fashion colour trends? A brief history of the universe? Jeez.

I agree with you! I’ve fast forwarded through his inane questions! Stephen Bartlett on DOAC knows when to ask questions and how to listen.
