Hi Chad, I like the different way you arrive at beautiful ear wires in this video. I have a suggestion; it is a great tutorial, but it is hard to see what you're doing in several parts. You are out of frame. I think all of us would appreciate a second detailed look. If you feel like it. I get this, but I've made hundreds of these. Your technique is superior in that it is very refined looking; clean wraps and the "eye" of your loop is uniform (rare). 😎👏👏👏👍

Thanks Flying Chef! I was going to make a newer one with several variations and a better view pretty soon. Good suggestion. At some point I will redo some of the early videos with better shot and edited ones. As always, thanks for the good advice!

Hehe. This is one of my early videos while I was learning basic video editing. Here is one that is a little better with more types of earring findings including that same type:). kzbin.info/www/bejne/iqW6g4Vnl82dabMsi=EPusRDi0SynjB5yB

Even if you buy dead soft you can work Harding them by putting them in a tumbler with steel shots and a drop of dish soap and tumble for at least 12 hours. But yes, using the half hard is the best but if you only have dead soft use the tumbler technique
