The game in the third section that starts at 0:21 is actually Clone Hero, not Guitar Hero III. It is a fan made Guitar Hero game that is only on pc and it has helped a whole lot with keeping the Guitar Hero fanbase together with mod charts, over and undercharts, free charts for all the songs in the entire series, remastered charts for songs that didn't have the best of charts, and even some nice add on modes that can make the game easier, harder, or more fun like taps only, all strum, and many more. You can even change the hit window, scroll speed, and highway length to your liking so it is more akin to more modern rhythm games. You can see the game again at 3:14 where it is correctly named. I think the creator of the video just messed up on the first one by complete accident since it was from Guitar Hero III and Randy was using a Guitar and then he found out that Acai was playing Clone Hero and forgot to change the first one of Randy.

I've thought this for a while but than realized- what really makes it *not* a rhythm game? That the gameplay doesn't have to sync to the music? You could technically say that about any rhythm game, if someone just makes a shit map. That it's a platformer/infinite runner? I don't see why it can't be both. You don't need the music? Again, you could technically say that about any rhythm game, and with them, the music is both intended and vastly helps you beat the level/map

@@SilverStar555 that’s true, but then again the skill ceiling in Guitar Hero has been broken so many times that we have players who have FC’d songs that were made as jokes (not dissimilar to the Waltz of the Irish [Most crazy]). Take Carnyjared and Schmooey’s FC’s on soulless 6, DarklyinDarknessGH and Schmooey’s FCs on Obsidian, Schmooey’s FC on Supernovae, or just a day or 2 ago, Frifraff’s FC on Megalodon.

@@alatreon7451 True. Putting the amount of FC's aside, they are two seperate games with completely different gameplay, its difficult to compare the difficulty of charts between them. Theyre both insanely difficult charts

Really wish that was 7:10 it spammed back through all the different games super quick, I think all 40 of them could have fit in that section. Would have made the video perfect.

I like how all rhythm games decided "yea, let's absolutely destroy our players hands and include this banger"

*Doesn't include actual Guitar Hero (3 or Smash Hits) Randy was playing Clone Hero, same as Acai but on guitar instead of drums.

With an identical chart of the song from the original Guiltar Hero game. Personally, I would have squeezed one more game, by putting the original version from GH3, and the Open Notes version of the track in CH.

I play guitar, and can play TTFAF at a decent level, and I can say that all of these are significantly harder than actually playing the song lmao.

I didn't expected the geometry dash one and now I can't stop thinking about how original is the game in the genre of rhythm games
@amel_lemouri Жыл бұрын
It wasn't supposed to be a rythm game but people turned it that way, since they sync almost everything with the song
@xenna39 ай бұрын
@@amel_lemouri in geometry dash, most levels actually do not sync, which is why geometry dash is a music game, and not a rhythm game !! ultimately it comes down to what classifies as a rhythm game, but by most definitions it is not. also i love geometry dash and it is one of my most played games of all time so don't take this as me dissing geometry dash because it not being a rhythm game does not make it any less of a good game
