Silverstein is the one band who never fails to make good music. Every album they've done has been amazing, and Shane's voice just keeps getting better. Some bands change their sound or go super-duper mainstream and then just arent that great anymore. Silverstein is the one band who's never done that, and i respect that a lot. Hands down, one of my all time favorite bands ever. :)

Post-hardcore - Sleeping With Sirens, Silverstein, Dance Gavin Dance Metalcore - Bring Me The Horizon, The Devil Wears Prada, Of Mice and Men Deathcore - Suicide Silence, Whitechapel, Job For A Cowboy Just thought I'd clear that up for you.

What I don't understand is why he plays in Eb tuning with a capo on the 4th. When it can be played with capo on the 3rd in Standard.

@XanderPlague Bring Me The Horizon would now be considered something along post-hardcore/metalcore. In interviews they also say they hate how people still call them deathcore just because there is no singing, they have clean vocals but no singing, if you know what I mean. Yes, I have heard the first album, Count Your Blessings is their best album by far.

A lot of bands tune half a step down for live performances, acoustic or not just to make it a little easier without the listener being able to hear it. The guitar he's playing in this video was probably already and is always tuned half a step down.
