Silver the Hedgehog is one of my favorite characters and one of the most underappreciated characters in the Sonic media because of his debut in Sonic 06. His story is one of the best along side Shadows. Silver had the misfortune of being in a rushed project that I blame the company for this. Sonic 06 is an example of not to rush your production and poor writing and decision making and half of the team leaving. His naivete is understandable given all he knew about life from his perspective at that point in the beginning of his story was pain and staying alive and to stop a tragedy. Silver needs more love and needs to be appreciated more, especially with people who have similar struggles in their lives. His gameplay is beyond bad and his boss fight is unbearable no thanks to games glitches, but him as a character is respectable. Thankfully, his boss battle in Sonic Generations was a major improvement from 06.

KZbin licenses covers automatically, but if you're not making money from the video, then you don't have to worry about licensing. If you're planning to publish to Spotify / Apple Music, etc., you can acquire licenses through distribution services such as Distrokid / Soundrop. Just tell them the original song title and artist and they will secure the license, though it requires a fee. Soundrop is better for covers, in my opinion. They will get you a license for $1 one-time fee, though they will take a cut of your royalties. Publishing a cover through Distrokid will cost $12 for every year that it's public. Though, through both services, the original artist also takes a cut of your earnings. But you do not have to contact the original artist; the service will secure the license for you.
