That Mad Max museum is awesome. Some of the most iconic Aussie films. Seriously where else can you watch XB XC Falcons, HQs, and panel vans with hand hanging of the back on a chain!!!!! This place is on the old bucket list.

I watched MadMax the first time in my life in 1979 and NEVER stopped. I know all the words by heart of MadMax and MadMax2. Been to the museum 3 times since we immigrated to Australia the last time was in 2021. The Silverton hotel is just so insane. We have a very good friend whom just finished his filming for the new MadMax movie, he will be one of the many bikers in the movie and he still cant get over the shoot and scenes he did. Thanx for filming that and Chris its nice to see another fan. I am personally pissed the original vehicle is in the US, the yanks got nothing on this icon of a movie. Just fyi all highspeed scenes were shot live in the movie all those camera angles were done in real time with a camera man risking his life for those scenes, just unreal. We also love John Dynon’s art we spent a lot of time in his galery and own some of his art, one of the art works we bought will go into our caravan when we eventually get it 😂😂😂 Thanx for your cool videos and the effort you put in to get as much in them with good info. Have been to Silverton and loved the place so much that I stayed in the campgrounds across the road from the hotel for 3 days. Yep! Visited the mad max museum 3 times. The guy running it thought I was a bit obsessed by day 3. Haha!!

The Mad Max museum would be great to see. George Miller did want to film “Fury Road” near Broken Hill etc, but huge rainfall in the area, turned the arid landscape, into green landscape and flowers ! So, they changed location, and filmed most of it in Namibia. Mad Max - The Wasteland has a script etc, but, for various reasons, the commencement of filming keeps getting delayed. Spin off movie “ Furiosa “ Was filmed in NSW during 2022. Should get released early 2024. Chris Hemsworth is in it. Sadly Charlize Theron did not end up being the main character..
