Wow, I played the Mac version of this about a million years ago. Picked up SimCity 2000, again the Mac version, which (gasp) released first, and looked a bit better than the DOS one, basically when it launched in...I want to say 1993?

@PapagenoX09 I love that era of computer gaming. Back before you needed to drop a few grand to stay current on PC hardware 😅

@@couchquestgaming Ehh, I don't know about other platforms, but Macs were pretty expensive even back then when you take inflation into account. My SE that I bought in 1990 with no HDD and upgraded to a whole 2.5 MB of RAM(!) came to over a grand with the student discount and didn't even include a freaking keyboard! That was another couple hundred (it was at least a mechanical one--Keytronic I think). I'd bought an external SCSI hard drive before (a whole 45 MB!).

@PapagenoX09 Yeah, I guess computer gaming has always been expensive, haha! As a kid, when we finally got a PC, I'd spend hours playing games like Age of Empires as well as a ton of edutainment games we got through school programs.
