Project Description:
*****
In today’s episode, we are going to use the versatile SIM800L GSM/GPRS module with the Arduino. We are going to control not one, but four relays connected to bulbs, and we will also be monitoring temperature changes using the DS18b20, a robust one-wire waterproof digital temperature sensor.
But that's not all! We're taking control and monitoring to the next level with the Blynk Application.
This powerful application will be our command center, allowing us to keep an eye on the temperature readings and manage the lighting setup right from our smartphones.
Next, what I am going to explain, you need to listen carefully and then you have to decide whether you want to use the SIM800L GSM/GPRS module or not.

If your sim800L gsm module is not connecting to the gsm network in your area and you are not able to send data to the Blynk, and you are not able to send data from the Blynk to the Arduino. If this is happening to you, then you need to listen to me with all ears.
1. May be in your area the 2G infrastructure is no longer supported, as in many of the countries the 2G networks are phasing out due to the advanced 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. So, if the 2G services are stopped by the network completely then you can't do anything about it and you will have to say by by to the SIM800L forever.
2. If in your area the 2G services are available but still you are not able to use the internet then you might be using a 3G, 4G, or 5G sim card in your mobile phone. Since the SIM800L GSM module is designed to work with 2G networks only, so you can only use a 2G SIM card. So, make sure you get yourself a 2G sim card. It might be hard to find but you will, because I also managed to arrange one for me.
3. if all the services are functional and still your SIM800L isn't connecting to the network then there must be a power supply issue, I have talked about it in the video.
Anyway, if everything is OK and you can monitor and control things using the Blynk application then you don't need ESP32 or ESP8266 for making iot projects.
