Ya it works on 5v. I checked it at 4.4v and it didn't work.

Very informative as usual; But please reduce the effects too much them makes the video less tolerable, I find it very disturbing and distracting, some sounds effect and blurry images really affects my vision. Anyway that me.

you explain very well. sir i wanna know in my country we have 5G and 4G but people said that this module work only on 2G network is it possible to used it in my country that using 5G and 4G

5v 3a. I use 2 of 18650 battery and LM2596 buck converter to supply 5v 3a to my sim800/sim900. I also add capacitor to it. Both sim800 and sim900 works without any issue. I also add voltage meter to monitor battery voltage. With this setup, you can take your project outside your house where there is no power outlet.
