Sid is 60 years old but young at heart man. He is widowed and misses his late wife Anu. His son Harsh is settled in the United States of America with his wife Ruby. Sid falls in love again but with Simat, half his age. They start living together. Sid mentions none of this to Harsh out of shame. He passes away from COVID. Simat now has the hard task of delivering the news to Harsh. Harsh and Ruby's reactions are emotionally touching. The story has twists and turns that keep the audience engaged till the last moment.

The end was shocking.....not expected at all. Again a Second woman in a man's life has been shown in negative light. Ruby's respect for her was so genuine.....because she has seen how society discriminates a lonely woman. This second woman in Mr Malhotra's life was good for two and a half years, and just after his sudden death due to covid, changed into a villain. Then Harsh was right. The ending should have been better

Me too felt the same way. To give such a twist, it killed the nobility of the whole story! Wrong message got conveyed with such an end of the story. The TEACHER could be mean and manipulative that's what it left the impression. I salute Ruby for being very genuine, caring loving human being. May we have such RUBYs in our society that would shine like real Ruby stone!

@@ShivaKumar-bz6uq That may be, but by portraying a woman who is the soon to be second wife, being much younger, etc. also went with the ending that most expect a woman to behave as being a gold digger not only in western society but so much more so in Indian cultural beliefs. So it was negative and in line with Indian societal beliefs about live in women, and women in general.

Good Grief!!! The end was shocking. I thought, Simmo truly loved Sid. However, this is an extreme case. Not all women are "Merry Widows," and not all younger women who fall in love with older widowed men are gold diggers! Perhaps there are those women who genuinely love someone, and there are older men who are happy to get a second chance in life. Regardless, I am left with a nagging thought: adult children like Harsh are left with nothing but remorse and regrets that they didn't spend enough time ... even if talking on the phone ... with their lonely parent(s). Time to act is: NOW.

Age gap has always remained a matter of concern, which gets lost in so-called infatuation. Ruby was the most understanding character here. The movie has truly depicted two faces of womanhood. Till the last shot I had a very soft corner for Simat! Why did she agree to play such a cunning end in this story? I wish it was kept as natural as it was going on from the first shot. This reminds me where I particpated in an Essay compitition conducted by my community.and subject was vision of 20th Century. I got the 2nd prize. After some time I came across one lady who was the judge for that event and knowing me by name and meeting in person, she said, you know what you could have won the 1st prize but you ended your essay with a note that you woke up with the alarm and all you have narrated was in your dream. So we did not feel it right to give you 1st prize! ...hummm so just the ending made me lose my winning 1st position. Here also I see the similar situation!
