As an Australian, I just wanna say that Australia is one of the nicest places to live in the world. The environment is great, everyone is friendly, and our animals are very kind. The only people that actually have problems living in Australia usually do pretty stupid things that end up getting themselves into bad situations.

2:30 the toilet spin is a myth... It's a real effect based off the earth spinning, so one side of the sink always spins faster than the other... but it's so small of an effect on sinks and toilets any disturbance could cause a chain reaction in the opposite direction. If you somehow drained a 100% stillwater above ground pool or other large body of water though it would always spin in one direction. Edit: The effect does make sinks USUALLY drain in the same direction, but not always as the myth suggests, but the subconscious 'normal' drain spin is burned in our minds.

The seasons being backwards is just a southern hemisphere thing. We all having bbqs for Christmas dinner Edit: I swear Americans get bamboozled over the most mundane shit. We don’t have any of the venomous animals that Aus has over here in NZ but the animals still act like animals which includes fur and elephant seals rocking up where they shouldn’t and little blue penguins gurgling acid. The national aquarium also has a competition each month where the keepers vote on the best and worst behaved penguins each month, so far the gay penguins are racking up the most titles there as one is regularly considered the most poorly behaved and the other is considered the best behaved. Also here we’re allowed to shoot any possums that annoy us, they’re invasive here and their fur is used in coats and gloves since they need to be culled anyways so may as well put them to use.

At the risk of answering a rhetorical question, Niel the seal is not bullet proof, but is most certainly resistant to smaller calibers. So much so that dumping an m9 mag into one would be about as effective as doing so to a grizzly bear. That is to say, if you miss its head, its likely just going to be very angry and could probbably survive the damage to terrorise another day.

@christyzeeaquarianated26009 ай бұрын
Lol, bullshit. You will see a lot of this shit in city areas, most of it in suburbs, and it's definitely not restricted to "the outback". I've lived all over Australia, in city areas, suburbs, small cities/towns, and in the bush. I've seen it all, in all the different states and places I've lived. Are the chances of seeing Roos, Koalas, snakes, Monitors/Goannas, etc., higher in less densely populated areas than the inner city? Sure, but the wildlife does infiltrate city centres on occasion. I've stopped Koalas being hit by cars in insanely populated areas, because the roads they liked to cross were near the beach (they love a body surf just before dusk during the summer). I've seen Brown snakes in the city, and roos. Live somewhere long enough, and you'll see them. The ACT & Vic wasn't as rampant with the wildlife as cities on the East Coast, Perth had its fair share, but all anyone has to do to spot an abundance of wildlife is go to the outer 'burbs, not all the way to the middle of the desert haha.
