they really need to introduce a feature that allows you to easily edit the layout of the city. A perfect example is how in Clash of Clans, they allow you to redesign the layout of your city by putting everything in storage, so you can put everything on a blank map while still saving your previous layout. I really hope that the SimCity BuildIt teams introduces something like this in the future.

After 7 years they still dont have an option for residential storage :/ I can see how it would be difficult to put into the game but its so essential for really optimizing your city on a regular basis and really getting a better experience. I just spent like over an hour laboriously click-holding all my residences and rearranging everything, but imagine if they introduced the option to store-all buildings of certain types with the tap of a button, then you can go into a menu and select each one to lay back down in your city... and how cool would it be if there was a single reset button that automatically put you back at a fresh map... come on simcity! Cool video by the way

Really good video honestly. I just redesigned and im going To do it again now. The part that stood out for me was to place specializations first. This should give me a population boost for sure cause it so hard to place any big specialization in an area that actually matters.

Whenever the roads get congested and turn red, don't upgrade. Instead, you bulldoze and rebuild them and they'll return to normal. way too expensive to upgrade. It's a scam to get us frustrated and spend real money instead of waiting patiently. Good luck.

Dont Level up. Make sure you dont do things which add points to Level up. Stay patient and do more trade. I have stopped on level 11 and got around 300,000 piled up within 2 weeks

It will gradually go back up to its original level, assuming you have put your services down correctly.

For population, it might even go up depending on how well you place your specialization buildings. If you place them badly, such as pairing all the best boosts with the worst buildings, you will most likely go down. However, if you do the opposite your population will probably go up

I hate to just refer you to another video, but check out some of the playlists because there are design videos for beginner, intermediate and advanced players. But in short: start with your police, fire and health services and build AROUND them. Also place specialization buildings and build around them also. Thanks for watchkng

SG-HyperX - watch my latest scbi video called city tour and I had the same problem. My suggestion is to do it by changing smaller sections at a time instead of changing the whole layout itself in one go.

Be careful of the fact of loosing mony when destroying your upgraded roads. You must uprade them when your buildings will be moved

SG-HyperX - make sure you check out the arrangements of the buildings.. like make sure that the fire station isn’t taking the place of the police or hospital in my video because the fire services has a different coverage then the other two.

i currently have 300k sims in my city and my city is a whole mess, the roads are all over the way and it's impossible to redesign the roads and buildings and i don't want to make my sims unhappy and they'll probably leave the city until i actually fix it... there's so much to do if you want to redesign. i've spent so much money to upgrade roads and the refund is a joke, you get back a small refund of simoleons of the road that's so expensive.

Taylor Pritchard well you can only do it for buildings under the Specialization category. You "click and hold" the building like you're trying to demolish it, but you select the recycle bin icon that pops up in the top right.
