I was never a big fan of Simcity series, but these games fill me with such nostalgia anyway. The 90s and 00s were such a golden decade for games. I will forever cherish the memories made especially with Will Wright's creations. Thanks for this compilation!

I built a new pc a year ago with windows 11 on it, finally upgrading from my old PC stuck on windows 8.1. Interestingly I’ve never had any issues running the game on any version of windows, just the occasional crash from time to time. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t run, maybe it has something to do with it being on Steam?

I had sim city on snes too and I was too little and stupid to understand how tf to play it so I don’t think I have ever built an even slightly thriving city. Ever. 😂 even after learning how to cheat in money, I was just a dumbass. I didn’t understand the basics of the game, and it was quite different from most of my other games! I wanted that giant skyscraper immediately, “how do you get that?!” I’d wonder to myself. Oh dumb, small, me. I did not understand city simulators. Sim cities, if you will. I mostly played squaresoft RPGs! But I did beat zombies ate my neighbors, super ghouls and ghosts, Super Metroid and castlevania IV. a completely different kind of achievement I am proud of to this day because those were effing hard
