I completely agree with this review. The treble and the bass of this IEM is PHENOMENAL at this price. But the mid bass tuck negatively impacts the lower midrange. How I wish it isn’t Harmon. This could be a set above $300.

The good thing about these two is that you can just EQ them to your preference.

Supermix 4 vs ew300 dsp ?

sm4, but it's kindof close. ew300 has more midbass, but the treble isn't quite as good. The ew300 does sound best with the dsp cable though, but the sm4 has a bit of an edge.

What would you recommend if someone was looking for something on the smoother, lusher, warmer side of things compared to the Supermix 4 but still relatively neutral around that same price range? Would the Aful Performer 5 fit the bill?

Great review! I think the SM4 absolutely makes the Quintet obsolete, at least to my ears. And it's cheaper to boot. I think I still prefer the EM6L but i need to do some more comparisons.

Put Divinus velvet wide bore eartips, fixes the bass for the better. Everything is better actually.

I'm bit confused, can you recommend me a Dongle Dac for Simgot Supermix 4. I read somewhere that it's sound get discolored and bassy for too higher or lower sources. I'm going to order this today. Can you help me.

Sadly, I do not have many dongles. 🫤 I do enjoy the sound of the Supermix 4 with the dongle that comes with the Rose Technics Star City 5 Pro, but it sounds best on my iBasso DX300 which is what I used for testing for this review.
