I know how you worked it out... First, he/she got the ideas from the Cutie Mark Chronicles, and checked how tall they were at their young age. This way he/she can tell who's the tallest. The tallest is eventually Fluttershy, and the shortest was Pinkie Pie. That way he/she can tell who could've been the oldest - Fluttershy. I'm a fan of Science so that's why I know this stuff (I'm not bragging or anything) :)
