Some parents can't show or express nd it's okay..we all should take that way nothing to be ashamed. .very sure if his child ll need him he ll leave be the first one to be there.may be silent support system. This interview might have done in year 2016,that time Rishi Ji was not ready to accept what Simi Ji was telling,but during last year 2019,Times Now took interview of this couple in New York,where Rish ji told that he was supposed to be friendly with his Son during his childhood, he missed that kind of relation and regretting for it. This he told after he fell ill and was at the end of treatment in New York. He accepted so many doings of his, with such nonchalance, that it makes me feel that as a 31 yo, did I really know him from before? If I could ever meet Neetu ji, I'd tell her... "Your story with him continues. To inspire many, to be tolerant, loving, and loving unapologetically and unconditionally.". Nowadays I think most interviews try to intentionally or deliberately try to ask questions that make people irritating and uncomfortable. But this is such fabulous interview. And that part of son and father relationship, i don't know about west but in in asian countries and especially in India Father and Son relationship are always like that. what sir has mentioned. There is certain glass wall. Typically Indian fathers and son have god level unconditional love but they doesn't show up each to other. Being a son I think we know both deep inside our heart have something that silence should be breaked but honestly being a son and introverted personality and yes being mama's boy don't have courage I don't know why, yes out respect think I don't break silence and I think father also lack courage to start a casual conversation but both crave for it. Father shows that I am hard from outside but reality he is the softest in a family. I can write hundred of words but that is useless. People may describe mother son relationship in words but father and son relationship is far far beyond the words. Both Heart knows it very well. Other than that many people in comment section are judging people relationship all over the social media and internet please don't do that tum log raita failana jante ho bas. A board mind, soft and sensitive heart is needed to see the love ok. I still remember when I was small child my father used to sing the song Prem Rogi from his movie Prem Rog when I used to ask asked him and now I don't have courage or something like that. I don't know how but that glass wall should break. Generally people say actor had a great contribution in film industry. But in reality it influence, inspire the the people around the nation and across generations. Great Actor contribution is far more bigger not only limited to the industry but society in large. RIP Rishi Sir. You will be missed.

I have always loved this couple . They are completely non-fake and have the least number of controversies. In Bollywood, this is the only couple which openly talks about everything good and bad. Neetu Singh did not belong to a family as rich and prestigious as Kapoors, but she proved to be an ideal lady , a wife, a mother and a daughter-in-law. She was a good actress too. Infact, she was a very big star and one of the top heroines at that time. Kapoors have also spoken well of her. Ranbir Kapoor has got that discipline and humility from her . Rishi Kapoor is also very adorable except that he is a bit loud . But that is acceptable since he is so much senior and comes from a patriarchal family. Also, he is a little bit chauvinistic. But for a marrige to work both the spouses should contribute. Thus, they make a wonderful couple. Their son is also a talented actor who should get married now. Its highly impossible to get a wife like Neetu for ranbir since times have changed. But given that he is more like neetu and not rishi, he might adjust with his wife well. I feel bad that his previous relationships with Katrina and Deepika miserably failed, but again even after breakup, they both continue to be cordial with him and especially Deepika who gets along well with Rishi and Neetu too. They never openly speak bitter about ranbir or his family. I wish that now Alia Bhatt turns out to be a good wife to Ranbir and Rishi improves his relationship with Ranbir.

What a wonderful interview. Simiji , u always do a wonderful job at connecting with your guests in such a way that breaks down their barriers and they are comfortable enough to be so candid with you. Not every host has this knack ....u do it with aplomb and with grace . I love watching this show. I felt so bad for neetu singh/ kapoor when her eyes filled up with tears that she couldn’t control any longer and the tear rolled out . The deep hurt and sadness then in her eyes was sad to watch . Rishi kapoor ....he is obnoxious and thinks mistakenly that the world needs to look up at him ....hes even worse when hes had a couple of drinks . But i must admit he does havea sense of humour . Neetu is just fabulous. Simiji u r beautiful and elegant

I absolutely love Ranbir! My favourite actor ever, read his interviews and stuff and I feel so sorry for him, Rishi was so strict whilst Ranbir was growing up like he used to cry in the dinner table and stuff, I don't think Ranbir will be like Rishi, he'll be much friendlier with his kids 😊
