Rendezvous with Simi Garewal Farah Khan & Shirish Kunder

When the world talks of Bollywood, its always about our songs & dances. And with her choreography, Farah Khan has taken it to a new level that impressed viewers worldwide.
This Rendezvous is the first time I ever sat and talked to Farah- and from that day onwards we have become good friends.
She has ascended high on the graph of success with her directorial hit ‘Happy New Year’. And her biggest achievement I think are her beautiful triplets! But all that came later...
In this Rendezvous in 2006, we were joined by her husband Shirish Kunder, whom I met for the first time..I enjoyed talking to both of them..

I found him delusional and out of touch with reality. He has indeed been very lucky. He is talented, but there are far more talented people out there. Guys I cringed so hard when he called himself a loser when he goes out with Farah, right after saying that he isn't insecure because he knows he will be successful very soon. Shirish is a south Indian guy. From Mangaluru, Karnataka. He was an engineer by profession. He is an introvert yet mature enough. Farah is an extrovert and they blended so very well as a couple, made it till 2024. That is more than enough for everyone who is judging him left n right, failed to understand different types of personalities, failed to understand themselves in first place. I pity those. I believe only people from other side, failed to accept people for who they are. They chase people for what they fake or pretend. South guys mostly are very humble and talk less. Because they believe empty vessels make more noise. They do not like to show off and keep their lives as private it can be. Shirish is no exception. He was very mature and did not want to go through emotional turmoil because he had invested in that. He had to make it clear before going further. He did. How many guys can do that? He called himself loser meaning he is able to introspect himself and his perceptions towards his growth/caliber. Most of the people live in illusion and are delusional. I did not see anything as such with him. He keep things simple and lives low key. That's why they are happy and peaceful. Farah is the happiest and go watch her youtube videos. She is elder to him more than 8 years. They never let their professions/success parameters between them and that's how they are successful so far. 20 years of successful married life with big age gap. Don't judge the book by the cover.
