Stella in fate is so mean, the original Stella teased sometimes, yes, but she never said things that were genuinely supposed to hurt other people's feelings. Unless she didn't like them of course. And she stayed within a theme for her comments, like witches being poorly dressed, places being unpleasant and things not being fabulous enough. In fate, she acts like she despises the presence of literally everyone. They've stereotyped her as a preppy, rich, spoiled mean girl.

I mean Bloom saved Stella in the cartoon, which is how their friendship progressed so fast, which technically doesn't make sense. Also cartoon Solaria must be a place full of daft people if they send the sole heir to the throne off without any significant protection whatsoever. Logically speaking that wouldn't happen; she'd have a regiment of guards escorting her to and from places. Hence removing the need for Bloom to save her and by extension leaving the door open open for a rougher start with Stella as shown in Fate.

My god...how dare you degrade me because my opinion doesn't fit yours. For starters I'm neither American nor a woman. Basic overdone plots? Have you seen the cartoon? Every season is basically a repeat of the one before; they just change the details a little, but at the core it's a basic rinse and repeat. Now THAT is bland and overdone. The "bland" fashion taste makes sense considering it's a real-life school setting. Most schools in our world wouldn't even allow half of the clothes the winx are wearing in the cartoon because of dress-code violations. Alfea is supposed to be a school after all; not a brothel. White-washing doesn't really work considering Aisha's in there and Flora will pop up in the second season. I could point out Flora was white-washed in the cartoon, so maybe they didnt realise she was originally latina when they first casted Terra in Fate. It's possible Andros doesn't exist in Fate so it would have no need for a princess. And we haven't seen much of Aisha's backstory, she could still be a princess. As for Aisha's powers. No her powers aren't water, but they SHOULD have been. She can control regular water in the cartoon as well, but barely does so. She's the fairy of waves; but mainly uses morphix instead of regular water? Makes no sense quite frankly.

Whats Tecna gonna do? Control an iPad to reprogram a demon? Lol her powers are too odd for live action, but who knows. Her nerdiness is already incorparated in Aisha and Terra though. Sameway we are probably not going to get Helia or Timmy back. Their character and backstory wasnt as impactful to the storyline as the rest. Im also not missing Stella's love interest Brandon. Sky and Riven have very interesting characters and storylines for screenplay. But like mentioned, you never know what the writers might do next. They definitely surprised me this season.

No self-respecting actress is going to cram herself into a sparkly hooker outfit though. It would be beyond ridiculous. I'm expecting that's the main reason why they didn't do that. That said, it was Bloom's first transformation so it's possible that she'll end up transforming beyond just gaining the wings the more she uses it though not to the extent of the cartoon hopefully/most likely. As for the wings though, season 1-3 of the cartoon also basically used insect wings. With only Techna's being the odd one out. To sum it up: Fate is not a cartoon but a live-action adaptation, you can't apply certain cartoon logics and aspects to a live-action because the results would be cringe-worthy. The point of a live-action adaptation is to make the winx-verse more realistic and relatable.

At best it would look out of place, at worst completely ridiculous. As for the actors. I think people are more hesitant to work with teenagers because it's a...difficult period with lots of change and rebellion. Also school is very important at that age and filming interferes a great deal with that.

The cartoon had great graphics and ✨iconic✨for kids but if your turn that into live action, it's probably gonna look silly and full of CGI shit. The netflix version actually gave it depth. I mean... Literally everything in fate is not the same as the actual show like 😒 it shouldn’t even be related to the winx like only some of the powers and the they didn’t even give musa her actual powers 😒😒 god nothing about the series gives winx at all Stella and bloom aren’t enemies they got along since the beginning and Skye and Stella NEVER EVER DATEDDD and there wasn’t monsters THERE WAS ALSO MULTIPLE PRINCESSES NOT JUST STELLA I hate the live series it sucks and there is nothing there that says WINX at alll I wish they could’ve at least make it similar to the show you know the different schools for witches for specialists and for fairies the winx are literally everything to me it’s my favorite show and they will always be even if I’m older I swear I want to be reincarnated into this magical world and be a main character 😂😂 I was really excited for the live series because I was gonna see how it would’ve looked like in real life instead of imagining it but it turned out to be something completely different and not at all like the actual winx And it disappointed me so much

But Terra was derived from Flora. They added a separate Flora later because of the whitewashing backlash. Remove the separate Flora character in Fate and it's clear that Terra was supposed to be Flora but due to the backlash they did some changes.

I'm hoping tecna comes back like aisha did in season 2 She's one of the originals and I would love to see her instead of 2 plant fairies I love the representation of a larger character being a fairy but they couldve just made flora bigger instead of making a new character for it and taking out a original character that already has been hated for decades. They couldve simply did the same thing they done to aisha and brought tecna back in season 2 like how they're bringing flora in the picture I feel like 2 people added into the group would be better personally then just 1 (edited because the other one was apperantly racist because I didnt like aisha)

okay and? Yes lets pick on the only black winx because we simply don't like her. It doesn't matter if you relate to her. She was one of the few examples black girls had for representation. I don't think you understand how important that is because your race is used to have representation all over the place. Many black girls including myself related to her and her struggles especially the hair episode. Not everyone is going to connect to every winx but why do you feel the need to bash her Since you brought up tecna, flora was in season 1 as well. You have an issue with aisha acting like there's not so many HUGE differences in fate. Way bigger than her being in season 1 instead of 2
