I think it'd be cute if the lady neighbour is going over to fix things for the dad so he doesn't have to call for repairs and that's how they get to know each other

I have a save with a similar-ish story for the sims there. A divorced dad with 2 kids, wife and him drifted apart only 4 years into their marriage. Dad falls into bit of a depression and decides to get a hobby and focus more on his kids instead of his job like he used to do (he was the one more focused on getting bread on the table when the ex-wife was around). Through this hobby (fishing, the lot has a lovely lake + waterfall nearby) he starts to actually socialize with his neighbour who lives just across from him, a single man who is slightly older than him and also enjoys fishing and going for jogs with his dog. Over the course of this "story", the dad gains his confidence back and reconnects with his kids, and also realizes that maybe there was a deeper reason why his marriage fizzled out, as the neighbouring man he has gotten close to starts to catch his eye in a different light... And it seems to be mutual.

I’d rather hear more about the building or decorating aspect. I mean a general storyline is great but hearing about all these details gets a little boring as the video goes on. I love your builds I really do and this is just my opinion
