Been using a 5.3 5 batten the last few days , stunning wind range , feels light ,made every thing easier so i sailed better and less tiring

Have been sailing Icon for years now ... I tend also to look at the placement of the batten end on the mast ... If my lower batten is about on the middle of the mast I know I am close to the right amount of downhaul . Greate job on the video !

And yes marking the measures on the day which feel perfect changed everything for me. Then it’s easy to find the sweet spot even fine tune a bit depending on conditions.

Many years ago a started to use superglue putting on the end of the robe, if you have enough fantasy you get it. :)
