See you on the water Ola! I'd love to try one of your "private" designs.

Hi Ola your quiver seems small in volume for a modern day quiver i would guess not many are riding 66l boards these days Is your focus on riding rather than planing out and jumping or are you a real lightweight ? And they are in proportion to your body weight

I don't do much jumping due to bad knees, but I like planing as much as anybody and tend to plane earlier than must despite my small boards. They are generally very efficient and matched to my technique. I'm 72-73 kilos and my boards are from 66 to 79. Unless it is complete slogging conditions, volume is not such an issue for me. I rather use faster rockers for conditions when I need to plane easily and efficiently. I design my production boards to also be possible to sail both small and a bit oversized relative the sailor weight.

Great video, also surprised about how small boards you sail. With your designs available in the market, which one(s) would you recommend for a 87-90kg guy wanting early planing but small board feel multifin in generally onshore to choppy waves? @@olahelenius

I’d say the Quantex 92, but 99 if you need to use bigger sails on it. To enhance a small board feel you should set ut up at a twin. Not surf style twin , but regular with something liek the pretty pwoerful 16cm fins in the back boxes. This will give maximum liveliness given the board size@@myownyoutubification

Talking about stuff the average windsurf manufacturers never do. A quiver of board should be comprised of styles you want to ride, not just sizes you need fulfilled!
