Honestly, I was not searching for this talk, but the title is eye-catching. Simon, this is some good open talk and very educative away from politics of the belly.

I still struggle to understand why an individual who has departed from a particular organization feels the need to publicly discuss it, even though they are no longer part of it. One might argue that this person is still hurting and is likely having difficulty coming to terms with their departure. It's commendable that the AR movement is concentrating on their own goals instead of giving attention to those seeking it. Young people, we must direct our efforts towards transforming our society into a better environment for all Namibians, rather than airing our frustrations on platforms through statements that have no basis in truth.

interesting ,, however fellow Namibians politics needs maturity in its own context. Ruling is not for people with big mouths , nothing makes a person of this kind better then the other. Next you see is this gentleman opening a party. Epunda nuuleli ihawu kuutumba poshitaafula shimwe. lets shape Namibia within existing parties already your time will come.

But comrade Simon, from 2014, Professor Job,has been at the forefront, until its formalization, where Prof Job emerged as activist in chief,Pau was head of elections, then Kavetu as head of Legal and etc..and all was fine...no questions asked. How come all of a sudden you now want to know who voted him as Activist in Chief, how about other guys who held other positions, who voted for them including yourself as a spokesperson?.........i will encourage all of us as young people to avoid throwing mud on another young person's name in the name of politics....

Cde I read your comment and I feel compelled to provide clarity. Remember I use to lead the movement as head of communications, so I know better! Since the inception of the movement in 2014, the three founders use lead as horizontal approach, all three use to co sign documents as founders, with Titles as land Activists for all three. The RIF- Reorganization Institutionalization and formalization only started in 2020. I was appointed as head of Communications in September 2020, Pau was appointed by the collective as head of Election with a duty to collect signatures and register the Associations to participate in the 2020 let local authorities elections. while everyone else remain as usual. The Prof started calling himself AIC, after the formation of IPC, as It's leader was empowered and elected by its founding Conference as "Chief Patriot" . Prof than started undersigning AR statement as AIC, which was not decided by the collective or by a convention. Only by 2021, once he was a coalition Mayor of COW, we resolved as a collective to appoint the head of Legal and while Dee and Kambala remain titleless. So that is the context my brother. RIF program was initiated to give shape and form to the movement by setting branches and subsequently hosting an Assembly to elect leadership democratically.. which never happened to date. Ask yourself who is the Deputy AIC of the movement? non? Who is the SG?

@simonkanepolo thats fine but how come you didnt ask the question which document or who actually appointed you guys to such positions or tittles until the fall out happened? Coz it seems to me as long as you were head of communocations;you were fine, you didnt have to question which authority gave right to whoever appointed you colleagues...and then it begs one to question if you were still part of the movement, will the public hear about all these? If your rotational model has suceeded...will we hear about all these or will you even rejoin the ruling party?

@simonkanepolo And mind you comrade there's nothing wrong about an organozation not having a deputy or SG or any other portdolios...especially when its still new or undergoing formalization. The same can be seen with MK Party in SA. The underpinning ideology is that since an organization is new..its prone to people being bought therefore it can easily destabilize the organization before it can really see its true potential..but thats just my thought from a strategic point of view.

My good cde, The movement came into existence in 2014, so your notion of the organisation being new warrants to a shaky relationship with the Truth. I have given my views on the leadership questions as it relates to the movement both in private and subsequently public. My principles is subscribe to democratic process and that's what I stood for regardless of who occupy the position...Authoritarian tendencies are not sustainable. That's my considered view but you have a right to your own opinion. However that is the context in which I aired my perspective. On the other note regarding your question of weather I would have renewed my membership with the ruling party, simply put, I was part of AR as a pressure group and would have never taken membership of AR as a political party. That has been clear from the onset.@@willemkanyondi1866

mmhhh powerful interesting story, though it is still a concern for me, why going back to a corrupt party that u learnt from and wanted to stop? I think that is still a sell out although u r in denial. Or can u then give another description that will fit u. But not of defence.
