look at his facial expression, it shows someone in deep thought thinking of a true event during the war. this is a man who never waivered in his love for his country. The name chopper is not a nickname but his pseudo war name. he was there and saw it. for those who followed his songs closely, he has a song in each of his albums which reminds us of what the war was about. Nherera, ndarangira gamba, ndafunga kumusha, africa, pane asipo, etc, He was just a genius and a true son of the soil

Masterpiece. You Chimbetu are a legend, this song makes me to think of my grandmother who was killed by a gun in the evening during the time of war, making my mom to be an orphan at the age of 12, I feel sad even now. And yet some freedom fighters thing that they are the only one who were affected by the war and yet almost everyone was and yet they are the only ones experiencing the freedom at the expense of those who were underprivileged because of the war. I am talking about anyone and everyone affected anyhow

Musicians like Chopper Chimbetu don’t exist in Zim anymore, he was so talented that he’d write a song about the hated ZANU and political figures , yet one wouldn’t realise and still love him. Chimbetu left a vacuum in the music scene that would never be filled by anyone.

This is the best song Simon has sung till that point which says muchiti Zanu, Zanu. He captures all what courageuos sons and daughters of our country Zimbabwe went thru to get rid of a foreigm led regime I wish our country's history will teach the young generation what a foreigner can do to a country.... his interests are not to serve and save us black Africans (as many young people are coercied to believe).

Happy Independence Zimbabwe. 40 years of pain under Fascist governance. We still have a good story to tell, Zimbabweans all scattered all over the world have carried with them patriotism and have raised the flag high. Destruction of dignity, human rights violations, police brutality and unconstitutionalism Ccontinues back home led by ED and Company. We removed Mugabe and we thought "takurira mhandu", little did we know.....
