"You can't wait until life isn't hard anymore to decide to be happy." - Nightbirde Out of everything I took away from her performance and her story, this struck a serious chord in me. It is not often we're given an absolutely obvious moment to really absorb something until it's already happened. Accepting is a hard thing sometimes and so is understanding and having empathy or compassion. The world has become very uptight and no one seems to smile quite like those who are going through the most anymore. Those that are seriously going through something are always the ones taking time for others or providing what they're not receiving. Making an active choice to be happy is not the easiest thing to do especially with what is always projected onto us. Good news isn't told anymore; it has to be sought out. There is a note of humbleness and gratefulness in her statement. Be happy with what you have right now. It might not be what you want or are working towards, but in this moment, you're here. To whoever reads this, you're heard and understood. You're not alone and good things are on the way. Help is coming; peace in the storm has to be sought out. Don't be afraid to stop for a moment and just accept who you are right this second. One day, this version of you will be a stepping stone to you in the future. And that's okay. Don't be ashamed or be afraid; even the worst things we do are completely authentic feelings even if for a split second. You've got this.

Thank you so much! I had tears running when she said that and wrote it down. And when Simon said 'she didn't make the finals' I decided it was time to pause the video and walk my dog to reflect on this. Looking at the stars, seeing the milky way, thinking about my struggles and of so many others, yes you need to decide to be happy. When others ask me how I manage to smile I tell them I use scotch tape and quickly they smile too, which is so heart-warming. We need to spread positivity amidst the darkness. Be a light.

Man, If you didn't tear up at least a few times watching this video, rather if it's from joy or sadness, I don't know which pile of salt you came from. Seeing others be that happy makes me smile and gives me tears of joy. Seeing others cry or be sad makes me feel sad and tear up. I feel those people way more than any hate that people try to bring to this world. Seeing people having emotions makes them real and beautiful. It makes me feel like those are the people I want to be around with. It shares comfort and warmth rather than cold bloody war. We all need that.

@GuantanamoBayBarbie22 жыл бұрын
Please forgive me for correcting your TV theology. I understand why we like to believe that, but it's not biblical. We do not ever become angels. We do not ever earn our "wings". That is movie theology straight from the old Christmas movie, It's A Wonderful Life. Salvation is a gift of God and based only on Faith alone. You cannot earn it. It is important to get our theology from the Bible. It saddens me that most people rarely crack open their Bibles and read the Word of God. It is the lifeblood of a believer's walk with the Lord. How else can you get to know Him? I'm not saying you don't read your Bible. I really wrote this response for the people reading your comment, and because "earning wings" is something a family member says that always bothers me. So please don't take my correction personally. I hope you have a wonderful day. ❤ I pray your cancer treatments are successful and that you will soon be in remission. If you see this, please let us know how you're doing today. God bless you Abby. ❤🙏🙏🙏✝️🙏🙏🙏❤

Tyler with the violin absolutely killed the concert. Absolutely the best violin skills I have seen. Grace literally have the potential to become a famous singer when she grows up. The coordination for Light Balance to dance in the dark is insane. That choir group singing is so good, the intro of their singing was barely 1% of their potential. Darci Lynne can sing so smoothly without opening her mouth, while changing her voice. That sounds so beautiful. Rest In Peace, Jane. You will forever be remembered.

13:08 this girl was my highlights of 2020. I sat in my room trying to memorise the lyrics of her song because of how good it was. I even joined a singing group because of her but later gave up because i wasnt good enough. It is so good how a girl such like her never gave up and finally got the golden buzzer. Absolute legend.

@ 35:08… Nightbirde 😥😥😥. I was doing fine until she appeared as her story & her performance absolutely broke me 💔🥺😭💔. She was arguably one of the most deserving golden buzzer recipients in AGT history. Long may she rest in peace ✊️😔🕊

The first one really had me! He was bullied for CANCER! Something I dealt with as a kid as well! And the fact he played "What kills doesn't make you stronger", I loved it! It's the perfect song for a strong kid like him.... and me. I was only 9 years old when I through it and as I'm typing this I'm 27. He's showed this strength not just by surviving.... but for coming up and there and showing what he fought for. And the cancer ribbon on this violin! I love it so much!

The little boy with the violin when the song started playing I realized that he played the “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” song because he had cancer and he beat it so “what doesn’t kill it makes you stronger” he is so sweet he felt proud of himself and I would too . He was inspiring the little kids in the crowd! I’m so happy that he got the golden buzzer and I wish him the best in life❤

Nightbirde seems like such a beautiful person like everything about her is so cheerful, she had such a positive and happy presence, you couldn't even tell she was dealing with so much in reality, that's what I like about her, also the fact that she said her song was about the last year of her life is almost like she knew this actually was her last year, yet she kept such a positive attitude, people like her in the world are so rare and beautiful, rest in peace Jane

I still have NO IDEA AT ALL how Darcie can make plosive sounds like "B" in Baby or "P" in "spread" without closing her lips!!! Even "M" from "moment" is really hard with open lips! I have tried everything and I cannot get the sound out with just teeth and tongue!!! The austistic kid was brilliant, his timbre, timing, and tuning were all perfection. And the gymnast girl and taekwondo people were stunning. And of course the final act.... damn.... no words will do for her. RIP Nightbirde.
