My interpretation from Simons's response was how Nigerian govt disregarded Fela and his grandmother who are heros. They were obviously agead of their time. They said if they had known that the country would repay them in this wicked manner; they would have fought for the survival and sovereignty of Biafra. The retired soldiers who spoke through their chairman, Mr. Gabriel Oiakhena said, "We have been pushed to the wall. The families of over 500,000 soldiers who lost their lives in Biafra are suffering. I think there might be some overreaction and misunderstanding across the board on all sides. If I had any influence on Simon Ekpa and Seun Kuti then I would have advised them both to delete this video and the Simon Ekpa's video.
