Until today I thought Disturbed did the best remake of this immortal & legendary song... but after I heard this lovely girl, her version became my number one! Much richer sound, powerful guitar and orchestration combined with equally powerful female voice, far more emotionally sung than anyone I have heard so far. She put everything in the expression and energy , not in her good looks.... Minniva marry me please if you are still not engaged :)

Since disturbed redefined how the sound of Silence should be sung. Others have either tried to copy it or come up with their own version. For me disturbed is the best. Moonsun has another good version. This one isn’t my favorite. But it’s not bad either. One thing for sure. I can’t imagine the song ever being sung the way Simon and Garfunkel did it.

Well, they did create this masterpiece, that is all that counts after all, as for Minniva she is a “cover singer” so there are plenty of songs she sung in her own way. Her version is not my favorite only because of her great interpretation but the whole sound in total, I simply go for sympho rock 🙂
