tbh i actually like the Simon`s style when hes talking about football, he seems a smart guy
@jaysmith28586 күн бұрын
Just because someone 'sounds smart' (usually because they have a large vocabulary), that doesn't necessarily mean they are smart. Another classic example of that who also works for TalkSport is Rory Jennings
@peoplelikefrank6 күн бұрын
Depends on the point of view.
@DXJ_YT6 күн бұрын
@@jaysmith2858you can’t compare Jordan to Jennings. Jordan actually is smart - he was a self made millionaire in his 20’s. Jennings is a failed child actor who runs a pod cast and used his dad’s connections to get a slot on Talksport - the bloke is a bloody berk and a Herbert, he knows feck all about football and has made a career out of badly informed hot takes. I like listening to Jordan, I turn the radio off when that pleb Jennings comes on.
@pedro7o7u6 күн бұрын
@@DXJ_YT Simon?! Is that you?!!!
@jaysmith28586 күн бұрын
@@DXJ_YT Jordan sold one business for £80m but then nearly completely destroyed Crystal Palace FC. Being sometimes business smart does not necessarily equate to a person being smart in other ways. I mentioned both Jordan and Jennings because both of them have shows on TalkSport and because both of them think they are wordsmiths and try to appear smarter than they actually are. Unfortunately lots of people think that those who are able to string a few words together that contain more than a couple of syllables are highly intelligent and the arbiters of common sense. That's not always the case, as it isn't with Jordan and Jennings.
