Steven Coogan can do a good George (All his Beatles impressions are spot on). He said, it's a bit like doing John, only high on LSD and with a hint of drag queen. I've only seen him do it once at one of his stand up shows, years ago though. TBH, he's pretty damn good, at a lot of impressions.

"George Harrison" from Broadway here: and I agree with comments listed, George is very hard to nail down, took me a long time to find that space where you speak in his voice. It's similar to John but it's a bit more gentle and the speed of his contemplative cadence is definitely key. I feel like his voice changed a lot too. You watch A HARD DAY'S NIGHT, his voice has more of a drawl and sibilance to it, maybe after coming off of having a sore throat from their American tour. But when you get to 70s and 80s interviews, his voice is much earthier, like he's channeling the spiritual guru that he's become.

This is a good impression. Commenters arguing otherwise may be mistaking an _impression_ for an _imitation._ They're not the same thing. An _impression_ is just what it says: the artist's subjective impression of a person, a caricature that gives us the flavor of its subject by emphasizing a particular quality or qualities that we identify with the subject. It's not intended to sound exactly like the subject. The theory is that caricature conveys the subject more forcefully than a strictly accurate representation would. The genius of a really good impression/caricature is the creator's emphasis of traits that the audience at best only subconsciously recognized, but which become instantly and consciously define the subject once revealed to the audience. In this case, what makes the impression good is the idea that the four Beatles speak from different parts of the mouth; in this sense it really is one impression of the four Beatles collectively, not four separate impressions of the four different Beatles.

Search "Jess Harnell does all 4 Beatles voices". That's how it's done. Harnell did the voice of Wacko on Animaniacs, among other voices

Harnell's impressions were rubbish, well at least to a British person. All the Beatles sounded the same.

Well, if he does Wacko, he's basically doing Ringo with an American accent.

One thing that stands out to me in George's vocals is how much he was apparently trying to emulate John. Either that or they just naturally had very similar tonality.

Fun fact: Jess Harnell does an impression of all four Beatles at once for the voice of Wakko Warner.

@@jetnut89 Actually, I've listened closely to a lot of Wakko Warner dialogue, mainly 'cause I'm a huge Animaniacs fan, and I can hear little bits of John and Paul in there. Occasionally there's a little smidge of George. Also, is it the vid where Jess explains his Animaniacs audition?
