That last card I would have masked off the velum panel (with a post-it note). Then you could stamp the black flower background onto the visible part of the background on the front. The stamp then wouldn’t “contaminate” the beautiful vellum panel.

The first two are my favorites, but they are all very pretty! Great to see Max pop his head in to see what was going on. 😁 I really do like this kit. The stamp set is pretty and it challenged me to do a watercolor pencil card front, with water. Working my way up to using my Aqua Pigments!

Love, love the pencil over ink smooshing. You're right, the texture you get by combining the two is wonderful. I'm not sure I have a favorite. Although, I do like the coloring on card number one. All of the cards are lovely!

They're all beautiful, Cassie. First 2 are my favourites. I agree the last one looks better trimmed. Maybe a strip of patterned paper along the bottom on the inside. Alternatively, cut the back off the card and reuse that for something and pull or cut the beautiful panel off the front and reuse. Been there, done that 😂

Thanks for the encouragement, Deborah! I may keep messing with it. It will probably be one of those walk away for a few days situations, and then I'll come back with a better idea. To get my drops so round, I try really hard to come at it from a 90 degree angle. Sometimes that works, and other times it doesn't. It's all the practice ;)
