It's great to hear you mention the tips of using the nuvo drops and pens--it'll make it easier for me when I start using these embellishments. Also I love backgrounds with prints and seeing how you used the rose/circle stamp and colors of the markers helps me with choosing colors. Thank you for taking the time to post this video.

Thank you Nichol for demonstrating a one-layered card because as a crafter who often sends handmade cards overseas I need cards that are not too bulky because the postage can be quite expensive otherwise. I love that you have used your Zig watercolour pens, I have recently invested in Bristol smooth paper and am looking forward to using this with my ARTEZA water colour pens. :O)

Thank you for the tip on letting the Zig colors dry for several hours before using the white gel pen! I've tried using a white pen over water-based markers like that before, and it always seemed to pick up the color I was putting it over. I'll have to try your technique! I love the background you created on your card, too. Great color choices! :)

Also, did you use the distress stuff over the yellow ink to set the ink so it wouldn’t smudge or just let it dry? (I can’t remember the name of that paste)

I like this layout I have a question: If you were doing the Thank you on a card and wanted it to pop, would you use something like the sakura pens to make it shine? Would you use a clear product, or a black glaze pen? Many thanks, Lee
