#1 is my manifesto in life, 2:22 he "walk up to the line" and "leaned in between two people" to grab a bagel, and nobody got "mad" at him for skipping the looonnnng *** line. ahaha, stop fearing what other people gonna think of you, so whhhaattt if you offend someone? i wannnnttt that baggggeellllll! i'm not waitin in line like all those wimps. it's how i apply this philosophy to my life. i see something, i go for it, i lie if i must.

@@annaku_rutgers10002 I thought that was a bad example for him to give, especially since he talks about humility later. Whoever put his various speeches together made a mistake putting that example in here. I disagree that we all should begin acting like 45, with EVERYONE jumping the gd line.

@@eggedon6112 Yea, the "cutting in the line" quote wasn't the strongest anecdote, I get the point of focus on what you want, not the things in the way, but I kind of respected the friend for valuing his wasted time waiting vs free bagel lol...

This hit hard. I was recently left by my best friend and partner of 10 years after a miscarriage... I begged her to stay... ... instead of supporting her desire to find someone else. I should have supported her. And done what I could to help. But I loved her, so deeply.... I didn't want to let her go... I see now that that was selfish. And she deserves better. A partner who would have supported her in any decision... I supported her in ever decision.... but one. Her leaving. I'm so sorry Amelia. I love you. And I want the very best for you. Even if thats not me.

I don’t listen to Simon Sineck that must but every time I do - I’m amazingly inspired. I realize some of things I thought are absolutely correct - then I always LEARN a few more things that are amazing - and that’s why I just subscribed to this channel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for getting me to listen to him again.

An impactful and motivational speech with contemporary examples to relate to. Throughout Mr.Sinek's message, he subtly spoke of both inter and intrapersonal intelligences that some people are naturally gifted in.

Simon I have the greatest respect for u & I agree with many of the things u say & teach. However there some things which in my personal experience contradict what u say, in reality, though in principle it is true. 1) that if u ask for help, many will come to your help 2) if u help others, people will help u too

If everybody in that bagel line follows your “break the rules” advice, there would be a chaos. There’s a video with a woman trying to cut into the line but the two people wouldn’t let her. Every single comment (hundreds) was cheering the two and blaming the one who tried to cheat. If you lose integrity and respect from others, you won’t go too far in life.

The other person said, I don't care if those bagels are free, have a money to buy a Bagel, I don't need to fall in a very lone line.

I understand the point being made, but if the bagel example were true and literal...I'd be upset with someone cutting in front of me and grabbing the bagel. Yes, it's free, but there is a line for a reason to provide structure and fairness. Lol Be respectful 😂 (yes, I know it was to make a point and not literal...I love the whole message...just saying...haha)

Simon, I usually like your ideas, but as a teacher and sensitive person, I disagree about your bagel solution. Yes, it is good to think about what you want, but this also needs to come with respect for others. Lining up and waiting one's turn shows respect for others waiting ahead of you! Perhaps no one said anything to you because they were stunned to see someone so self-centred butting through the queue. If I was in that line and you pushed ahead of me, I would have asked you to wait, like everyone else was doing! Respect seems to be lacking in many places in America! Shame on you! When I was very young, I went to Chinese shops where the old people would not queue and would just push themselves ahead of you because they had learned there wasn't much food to go around. Is this how should teach our kids to behave?
