Good shot Simon, I mean Butler! Lovely to see Maureen, and I'm sad to say the Panthers held the Bunnies in check this year.

It's great that your wife could come and spend a few days with you at Curtis Island. I've been wondering, do you ever get lonely sailing around for so long, mostly by your self?
@simoncarteroz2 жыл бұрын
Frodo's, I do get a bit lonely I my go a week without speaking to anyone outside my family. I bump in to people whilst walking or at a marina who say "hello Simon" I dont know who they are or some one come over in there Dinghy ask me to come over for a meal to be pumped for information but that is part of putting youself out on KZbin. I do get lonely at home My kid are grown up not out at work or in there bedrooms studying only coming down for dinner which in our family is a TV OFF affair ! No phone on the table ! so we have to converse to each other one a day at dinner time. I hope that fills in the Picture Frodo"s Adventures

@@simoncarteroz thanks. Yep, I keep thinking that by the time I finish the F22, my daughters will be too busy doing other things to come sailing with me, studying, musical instruments, part time jobs, boyfriends etc. My daughters are only 9 and 12, but it seems to be happening a lot sooner than I thought it would. I thought I had my 9yo. lined up to come sailing on Bjelke-Peterson Dam last weekend, but then she found out that her older sister, brother and his girlfriend were coming to visit for the weekend. Suddenly going sailing with me just wasn't that appealing any more, so I went by my self! And my 12 yo. any spare moment she has you're flat out getting her away from the phone.
