My son and I followed you and Kevin during Saturday’s match. We drove to Rockhill to see you. We both wanted you to do well. We’re sorry you weren’t playing your best. It was still awesome to see you in person and actually get to walk with you and stand next to you on a few occasions. Thanks for being you. Love ya Man.

Just because you didn't score well, doesn't mean you're not a great golfer AND human. Hard to be excellent and a good person, and you've been entertaining us for years for just the love of the game. Be proud, you've had a great year!

This is what disc golfers need to see to keep them coming out again, determined to improve. Every round can’t be perfect. Simon has played some amazing tournaments this year and it helps to see that not every round or tournament goes your way, even if you’re one of the best to ever do it. Thanks for sharing Simon! Love, love, love watching you play! Whether it's live or on your vlogs. Seems you were having an existential crisis there, but please don't stop playing. You're so good at it, even on your off days. Maybe you should bag the Tilt again? It's my favorite disc and I use it regularly, even upside down like you recommended! Anyway, don't be sad. Four big wins in one season is nothing to be sad about! Go, Simon, GO! ❤️

Might I suggest a mesh style runner's hat, Headsweats makes some great ones in many attractive colors, they allow the hurting brain to cool, contract, and breathe. Could sew on or otherwise affix the desired logo. I could never wear the head prisons put out by the companies. Start playing with your opposite hand, it's fun, and often handy. I only buy Discmania because of you, not Eagle ! lol. When Bruce Lee was asked what his fighting art was he said "it's the art of fighting without fighting." Will never not be a Simon follower.

What a great video! The editing, the interviewing in the middle of rounds, the music...everything about this video was done masterfully! You did a fantastic job capturing the emotions that you went through during the tournament. It's hard to believe that english is your second language and that recording video is just a hobby for you. I didn't want the video to end... Thanks for sharing these moments with us! Even though you make the top 10, you are still a living legend and you are still living the dream! The struggle of a professional golfer is often unseen. Watching coverage, we're seeing the 8 or 10 guys who are playing great that week, and they're making the game look easy. We don't see the rest of the field struggling to find the "magic".... Great video.

Thank you for doing this. Seeing the "other side" of professional disc golf as a stark reminder of just how tight the margins are between leading to finishing in the middle or maybe not at all. And even the ennui that sometimes sets in. Makes those moments we're reminded how much we actually DO love this game all the more meaningful.

Simon , you're the reason why I'm totally addicted to dg. I started 4 months ago, and i loved it. However, it's when I found you and eagle that the world opened up to me, and you got a fan for life from me. For some reason I keep getting the feeling that you might benefit tremendously from seeing a sports psychologist. I mean you're obviously talented, no one can debate that. But even from 4 months of following your career, it's like your highs are so high, but you lows are also pretty low. I get the sense if you can learn how to reset better when things aren't going your way, you will be scary as a competitor. This year has already proven beyond a doubt that how tweaking your mentality can bring you crazy success, just a feeling I have. Wish you all the best.

I really appreciate the realness and the vulnerability of showing this side of tourney life. Many would only want to broadcast their ups... Which is why most social media is such a cess pool. It's good to show the ups and the downs, especially as such an influencial figure for the kids. Lots of kids really look up to you, simon, and rightly so. Thanks for sharing Simon I got to be part of the crowd control if you want to call it that at the end of your round and win in Portland. Had been with the chase card until the crazy finish on 18. I was so busy trying to do my job that I really couldn't appreciate what happened until I watched the replay. But I do remember the feeling of genuine joy on the part of the crowd when you won and also for Garrett who was amazing in his own right and would get the win at Milo the next week in the rain. Proud to have your signature on my volunteer badge. Impressed to see that you are sharing the struggles and disappointments and the sort of amazing realization that the difference between scoring really well and scoring so sore even poorly isn't as great as many people make it seem. Everyone out there is talented and capable and they're all trying their best to play their best. Sometimes it's not you it's just them playing a little bit better and getting a little bit luckier. There's a whole lot of people on tour that would be happy to have four wins and there's a whole lot of people in the world that would be happy to have you are beautiful family to come home to win or lose. I kind of agree with some of the folks who expressed concern that vlogging and playing your best may not go hand in hand. But how cool would it be if you were vlogging and still want the tournament. If you don't try, it'll never happen. I understand and appreciate the effort however you choose to do or not do it. Looking forward already to this year's vlogmas. All the best. And hopefully see you next year when you come back to the Pacific Northwest.

I was excited Thursday and then felt for you Friday and the rest of the tournament as I watched the scores. I could not believe this video appeared but was glad it did. Always pulling for you.

Hey Simon, loved the vid. Can't say I have played a major but all the things you went through are super relatable. I feel like I am all over the basket but it's not quite right so I adjusted and it's too low or too left now. Anyway thanks for being real, your "I got my health" moments are like my nature appreciation moments gotta snap back somehow.

Hey Simon Danke für dieses Video, es ist schön zu sehen wie ehrlich Du mit ups und downs umgehst. Schade das es nicht optimal lief für Dich, hätte es Dir sehr gegönnt unter den Top 10 zu landen
