This game was the icon of my childhood and especially birth by sleep. One of my favorite kingdom hearts openings since I was a kid and hearing it as an EDM remix, an amazing one at that, it reminded me of the game and couldn’t help to tear up. This remix is amazing, this footage is amazing. It reminds me of Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure, one of my favorite childhood games that was also a kinda crossover of Disney properties and original characters. I actually didn’t get into KH until 2007 when I was 13, so while I don’t necessarily have childhood ties to it, it’s still an important part of me. Hearing this and seeing the skating makes me really reflect on how that old age of 2002-2003, with Kingdom Hearts, Skate Adventure, House of Mouse, etc; all of that really was a lifetime ago. Man.
