Thank you so much. Brand new to your channel and to painting, and this was so very helpful! I can't wait to check out your other tutorials; I've been trying to find something that would help me take that first leap.

Thank you Lois. Still having trouble practising the 'loose' technique but the more I watch and soak up handy hints from you I hope to progress forward. Great video.

Thank you, Lois! I did not know about making things 'point' to the focal point. Just didn't occur to me.

That's beautiful. I'd like to try this but have very little watercolour paper left. Do you have any suggestions for practice paper? I think it would help me be more confident and looser if I don't have to worry about practicing on expensive paper.
@LoisDavidsonArt2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much, I don’t use anything other than cotton paper so I’m afraid I don’t have any recommendations, maybe try the back of an old painting 🎨
@pamgibbons20432 жыл бұрын
Im guessing that if you don’t use a very good cotton paper in the first instance that you would not get the effect you want. This comes with a lot of practise and experience but stunning results eventually !

Hi Gladys, mine’s a size large, the 4.4cm but if you use small paper a medium may suit you better!
