In this video, Arn Andersson will take you through a few of his best tips for beginner composers who want to write stronger and more memorable themes and melodies, by analyzing melodies from scores like Gladiator and Harry Potter, and tracks from Two Steps From Hell.
Keep in mind that these are just findings based on these themes and a general rule of thumb, so take it with a grain of salt, and don't feel limited by this information.

If you wanna get to the depths of themes you need to look at Wagners leitmotif. And also basic melody writing such as binary and ternary form.

Very good lesson. But why is there so much advertisement. Pls reduce this, I can understand you want to keep the monetizing, but this repels me. In the end those videos should give us appetite for the full courses right?

My main, combined, Christmas and Birthday present this year was access to the Evenant Silver Bundle... this stuff is absolute gold. Maybe consider renaming ;) Keep it up. This is incredibly well-presented and user-friendly insight into the tips and tricks of film composition. Thank you.
