What kind of wire are you using for stems?? It looks coated or brighter green than my 18 gauge??
@OhYoureLovely Жыл бұрын
This tutorial was from a few years ago now the wire stems we currently carry in the shop will be a dark coated green color

I love your tutorials. My wedding is in October of 2021, when do you recommend I start making bouquets? How long can these be kept before and after the wedding?
@OhYoureLovely3 жыл бұрын
Hey! You can start as early as you want I would keep the finished pieces upright in a vase out of direct sunlight if you can. The flowers dont have a shelf life they can last for years and years. Sun fading can happen so be aware of that. If you are using preserved/dried filler that does have a shelf life of typically 6 months- a year depending on the foliage. Hope that helps!

This looks so good! What type of greenery did you use?
@OhYoureLovely4 жыл бұрын
Sadly I don't have the exact links to the greenery I used as it was pieces I have in my greenery "stash" from all over. Sorry not to have any better information for you!
@maribethcastroparada96764 жыл бұрын
How did you attach the flowers to the greenery cascade itself, the lower portion of the cascade? Thanks😊
@OhYoureLovely4 жыл бұрын
I took a piece of paddle wire that I folded, where the fold point is I glued that into the flower like you would a wire stem. then you have two little "legs" of wire that you can then wrap around the greenery. You could also just glue those trailing flowers directly on the greenery but I tend to like using the wire so it is a bit less permanent and I can move it if I dont like the spot I initially put the flower at

Oh Youre Lovely thank you for all the information it is so useful😊. I hope you could show how this paddle wire is used in your coming videos. Thanks again and more power to you👍

Where did you get the hanging plants from?? I can't find anywhere
@OhYoureLovely4 жыл бұрын
I believe I found this one at Michael's but I've also seen them at hobby lobby and Joann's before. Normally you will find them in the greenery only section which is near the faux flowers but normally it's own section. I hope that helps!
