Simple Cheap Skate Drain Solution For Yards W/ Little to No Slope!

In this video, I show one possible drain solution for a yard that has little to no slope. Total cost for job shown is around $225 at the time of the video. I installed a channel drain, 40' of corrugated pipe and a T at the end.

Great video. Packed a lot of good information in a short video. I wished you and this video had been around a few years ago. One question. The pipe you ran along the house, did it have holes so some of the water could dissipate along the route? Sorry if I missed you saying.

HI, I used a solid pipe the whole way, but if you live in an area that doesn't have sandy soil, I did put a pop up text somewhere in the video about using a perforated pipe for the last 10' of the run with a sock around it.. or you could use the perforated pipe for a larger portion of it to drain away some of the water along the way, but here in Florida the sand dissipates the water pretty good.. I do recommend gravel in the ditch if you use a perforated pipe... 😀
