Water will flow in the valleys of the roofing iron, so why not screw in the high ridges to stop leaks. Screws didn’t appear to have rubber washers either.

Well, I did spot the rubber washes, but did miss the foam stripes under the ridge cover. Water will blow in there for sure. But what I would be most worried about if how the roof is ankered to the top of the wall. Some spray foam glue, some rebar slammed into the wall, and thats it. Concrete ring beams were invented for a reason (or storm ankers, for that matter).

As a roofer / plumber, it really hurts when you have to watch someone doing almost everything wrong on the roof! Would have been smart that one would have asked where it is right!

To help educate others - what was done wrong? I know this is not on par with German built code and most likely not built to any modern western countries building code... For example the windows - we use RAL-certified bands and foils now instead of foam most if the times. although I only know for sure for cavity wall construction - so with Ytong/AAC it might be a different story... With the roof I would have imagined to see a "Ringanker" U-shaped profiles for last row of stones - with lots of rebar und bit sturdy metal bolts on which the wooden beams can rest - Stichwort Lastabtragung... I suppose one can see this as an extended version if a tiny home maybe? It will surely stand a few years/decaded et cetera.

Cuando se asegura las planchas con los tornillos autoroscantes se lo hace en la parte del cumbrero y no en el canal ademas se coloco un poco de silicón esto permite q quede totalmente sellado

This roof is a bit wrong. Where are the patches and the counter patches. After all, if the condensate water is there, where it will run. It will stop and those individual patches will rot. I understand that something may be simple, but not just any. You have to stick to certain rules. I will skip the rest ... Nice, simple house but the technology / construction technique has a lot to be... Ten dach to troszkę nie tak. Gdzie łaty i kontr łaty. Przecież jak tam się woda skroplin to gdzie będzie spływać. Zatrzyma się i te pojedyncze łaty będą gnić. Ja rozumiem że coś może być proste, ale nie byle jakie. Pewnych zasad trzeba się trzymać. Pominę już cała resztę... Ładny, prosty domek ale technologia/technika budowy to ma dużo do życzenia...

Pomysł domu fajny, ale połączenie więźby dachowej ze ścianą konstrukcyjną jak dla mnie bardzo złe. Brak wieńca, kotew w wieńcu i porządnej murłaty. Taki montaż więźby dachowej jak na filmie może nie wytrzymać porządnej wichury. Obym się mylił. Pozdrawiam.
