All you need is a ball and chain on one of those fuzzy slippers, and a hammer to breaks rocks. If you have thick glue lines from contact cement, you could switch to seiwa glue - otherwise use a spreader instead of a brush to spread a thinner amount. Brushes out the glue in thick, leaving lines.

Nice wallet. Love the jail bird lounge wear. What leather weight do you generally use for wallets?

Beautiful piece of art! Thank You! 2 Questions: 1.) Why did you do wrap around stitches at all (why not backstitch?)? 2.) Why 2 wrap around stitches on one side and 1 wrap around stitch on the other side? (I realize you had more leather on one side, but what about the symmetry?)?
@MasconLeather
@MasconLeather 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks!! If you look close, each wrap around is the first stitch up onto each pocket edge. Holds edge / ends down better. 😉

Thanks!!!! 1. I’ve been so busy. I’m trying to squeeze in some filming when I can. Videos take 4-5 days to film and edit. It’s tough. 2. This video was 10 minutes longer than I expected, so I didn’t include any Chloe footage. Maybe I should have.

Loving your videos. Started working my way backwards, determined to watch them all but I have a question. When you use the bump jigs, why do you use the yellow ruler and not just use the straight jog to cut against? Sorry if this has been answered already. I haven't gotten to that video if it has. Thanks!
@MasconLeather

Thickness of the jig. I like a thinner edge to pull blade against. Either way works

I have a question for you +Mascon Leather/Artie. If you could do it all over again, would you purchase the Clicker in this video or would you buy a different one? I'm just curious because I see a lot of videos with artisans saying if they could do it all over again they would (Insert here) wishing someone would have told them. Thank you Artie.
